    STARGATE UNIVERSE #8:Time/Season 1/2009

Watched the clip....meh... seemed kinda strained. I think they put it up to make the people that didn't like the ending happy. They coulda accomplished the same thing by having a few words between characters saying something about the two Kinos in the next episode...

The Gathering Storm - anyone reading this?

Just finished it. Overall very good. Was absolutely egwene's book, but there was also a lot of movement in Rand's story. Freaking scary for sure. Definitely difference in writing styles, as would be expected. Sanderson is not as good with the, I don't know...emotions? RJ was great at those...

An idea for a "third" book in the Campaign Setting sets.

This is a great idea. Works right into the idea of making this edition easier on the DM in prep time and giving a hand to new DMs. Something like this would be a great way for a new DM to get ideas of what kind of adventures to run in the setting. I also like the idea of a little section of...

    Stargate Universe #5:Light/Season 1/2009

What Dire Bear said about Eli... I mean, it hurt to watch him with Chloe, basically letting her use him for comfort, but I could totally see it happening. Which, I guess, is why it made me feel something. I agree that the writing/directing/acting on this show have been phenomenal so far and...

4e adventure included in Midnight chronicles DVD

I didn't think it was too bad. It's meant as a TV show pilot, so it's about that level of writing/special effects. I have seen much worse acting.

    Stargate Universe #4:Darkness/Season 1/2009

Yeah, I'm really enjoying the slow buildup and character development. Right now the antagonist is the crappy condition of the ship and their lack of knowledge about it. Doesn't lead to a lot of action, but I'm ok with that too. For me, I would much rather watch a "slow" episode that has lots of...

    Where the Wild Things Are(n't)

The reviews I've read have been fairly positive, but have all said that the movie is at least a little too scary for most kids, hence the PG rating.

    FRINGE #5:Dream Logic/Season 2/2009

Haven't been looking for the observer this season but I did catch him in this episode. It was one of the shots where most of the characters are standing in front of the dream clinic. You can see the observer going down the stairs visible behind them.

    d20 Online Dating Packages

wow...$250... so many comments possible... Interesting idea though. Seems to reinforce the whole "geeks have no social skills" stereotype, but I bet most people, geeks included, just don't know how to present themselves in a profile.

    DOLLHOUSE #3:Belle Chose/Season 2/2009

Yeah, I like Ballard's line about Topher as well, and Topher's response. "Hey, thanks for selling the point with that." The whole Terry with his "dolls" angle went right over my head...pretty obvious when it's pointed out...
