I guess I'm sorry if this new Pathfinder Forum bugs some folks ... but it certainly doesn't bug me. If it's a Ghetto, I find myself unafraid to enter and feel at home. For me, it's just a convenient place to find information ... and discuss ... another version of a game I love. And have loved...

I'm still reading and considering, but I'll admit the Paladin does look good. Heck, I might play one again ... and I haven't since 1980. I'm liking the Wizard. If nothing else, because it is still an actual Wizard.;)

They're probably worried we've been thrown into a Ghetto. If it's a Ghetto, at least we can find one another. And, yes, I suppose we'll "bother" the more normal folks less.;)

A hearty "agreed" to all of this. If I never hear another word from the Edition Wars again ... it will still not be too soon.:mad:

Oh, I'd say "up" from 3.5. I tried hard to enjoy 4E for about 7 months after it was available. Played with several different local groups when I found my own group just wasn't interested. Sadly for me, 4E just didn't click ... maybe I'm too old??

I've simply been too busy at work to pre-order in time from Paizo. I now find that my local area ... suburbs outside Washington DC ... is basically sold out of every copy due to arrive. Good for Paizo. I'll just get the pdf now and wait for Paizo to release their second order. I'll get by.

I'm sorry to sound negative, but I seriously doubt WOTC will pay any attention to this Thread. These days, I'm just an old "member of technical staff," and not a senior manager anymore. But when I was, this sort of thing would have made no impression on my hiring policies. Sorry ... All that...

Very true. So I've been 'scammed.' Big deal, I'll get over it ... in fact, I'm nearly over it now. Too bad for Rev, though. I get the feeling he lived a significant portion of his life here. He made a bad mistake, and I hope he gets over it, himself. Time for everyone to move on.

This. There is literally no Wizard class in 4E. Instead, for the sake of balance, WOTC divided the Wizard into a number of classes ... not all of which have been seen yet ... and then modified the arcane spell-casters to fit their overall strategy (and assume a number of roles). Nothing wrong...
