There's an epic use of tumble called 'free stand' that let's you do that: Free Stand The character can stand up from prone as a free action (instead of as a move-equivalent action). The DC is 30 35. It doesn't say wheter you provoke an AoO with that but i'd rule that you don't.

Frusrated with his failure and feeling a panic from being burried alive, Hulgyr let's slip the beast inside him and digs even harder. ooc: yeah, rage.

ooc: since Hulgyr is a praised member of the superhuman (or superoc for that fatter) strength department... Burried underneath the avalanche, Hulgyr franticly starts to dig himself a way out to freedom.
