Haven't read the whole thread. I think maybe Nimble rpg could be something, you should check out. I think it looks very promishing (except of the armor rules, of which I'm fairly sceptical).

I am eyeing Nimble 5e with greater and greater interest. I was sure Savage Pathfinder would be my next campaign. Now I'm not so sure.

"Emanation" is a term I haven't seen in D&D before (flaming skeleton).

I too would hihgly recommend Savage Worlds, probably Savage Worlds Pathfinder. You can get the pdf for $15 right now. It is what I am planning to run once our 5e campaign ends (though that may be a while). Considering your positive response to other posters' suggestions of systems not like D&D...

Why not A5E's price lists or similar?

Just had a thought - since you're basing this on PC capabilities, wouldn't it make sense to hold off until D&D24 releases? Seems to me the classes will differ quite some from your baseline here.

@CapnZapp, would something like Laserllama's work on the PHB (and other) classes work? Greatly increase player options but doesn't fundamentally change 5e.

I do lycanthropes as immune to non-magic, resistant to magic and vulnerable to silver. My best example, as most other monsters are not so obvious.
