I'm Ready For A New [BLANK] RPG

It makes Matrix a sad boy that the Savage Worlds version of Earthdawn was so poorly done that there will neveer be another try - even though SWADE is almost a perfect fit. Heck, both systems even have exploding dice!

I'm Ready For A New [BLANK] RPG

Star Wars Saga was a d20 system, and not at all related to Dragonlance SAGA.

MCDM monster book “Flee Mortals!” KS is live!

Savage Pathfinder. It has that D&D feel, but wildly different mechanics. Haven't played it yet, but I will!

    D&D 5E (2014) Phandelver & Below's Full Description

You also could do worse than getting a copy of the Neverwinter Campaign Setting. While it's for 4th edition and set about 10-15 years prior to 5E, it's one of the best setting guides for D&D period. You can easily use most of the lore, plots and adventure hooks as is. That's what I'm doing...

WFRP 4th Edition - How the game has evolved.

That would be awesome. Instead of having to read through all by ourselves, we get summaries plus a balanced review. What's not to like? :)

D&D General H1-E3: Demon Prince of Undeath Conversion

There was a sidetrek for King of the Trollhaunt Warrens in Dungeon magazine. There was support articles on Orcus cult The Ashen Covenant, prominent in E1. Don't think there was anything about Nightwyrm Fortress. That module got really bashed for being a linear slug. And I agree. Maybe it will...

WFRP 4th Edition - How the game has evolved.

I just get triggered by 'it's a board game' comments. Must be PTSD from the D&D-edition wars. What you say makes sense 👍 Still wish they'd do a compiled/revised edition. I think it's hard to get into the game when rules that really improves the game and fixes things are spread over multiple books.

I'm not sure edition bashing adds anything positive to this thread

WFRP 4th Edition - How the game has evolved.

They really need this. I think the spread of more or less essential rules updates across various books are a big barrier to on boarding new players. I know I won't invest in 4e before there's a 4.5.

Looks like 4e needs a new edition

D&D 5E (2014) 5e Monster Stats by Level (not CR)

Damn, that's convoluted! Thanks for clarifying :)

I must completely have missed that?

D&D 5E (2014) 5e Monster Stats by Level (not CR)

I'm not sure I see the big difference. What's challenging monster for this level vs what's a challenging CR (= monster) for this level 🤔 And what will be the result? A few pages of guidelines, or do you plan on converting all MM monsters? Not trying to be snarky, I'm just really trying to...
