Just wanted to point out that not all feats are passive. If you look on the pregen cleric, one of his Channel Divinities is labeled as a Feat power (Power of Amaunator to be exact) I think the terminology is fine as long as it communicates in a decent manner what is going on. Elite monsters...

Here is the full deck for anyone who is interested. I changed to wording to make it as character neutral as possible. I intend to modify the cards again once I know 100% what the final wording will look like in the PHB.

I love these backs and will definitely use them once I am finished. I still need to go back and redo the abilities for the updated wordings (I was using the first versions of the sheets) as well as finish the divine cards.

I'm hoping for a legacy weapon system in the DMG as well as greater starting wealth, so that players can actually start in nice heavy armor without the DM hand waving it.

From personal experience medium armor was usually only a stop gap until heavy armor could be afforded.

I gotta say, I like the alternate material armors. Always have and always will it seems. Gives some variety and that is always good.

If it is a nonmagical weapon and the monster is intelligent enough to use it, by all means he should pick it up. If it is magical and non returning then he can pick it up too if I was silly enough to give it to him. The point is that charging is not always the better option. Trying to draw an...
