I'll agree with the GalCiv vote. It's a great, complete game. Graphics aren't excessive, but the gameplay is everything I've ever wanted in a 4X game. -Clint

Sounds like a great and epic campaign. Why concern yourself with what they do? It's not like they'll directly impact the play of the game during the first few sessions. I'm a fan of leaving the options flexible, and filling them in as the game progresses. Nothing goes according to plan anyway...
