    D&D 5E (2014) 5E Economics - Armor, Cortine Steel & Elven Chain

What world is your setting in? I've never heard of Cortine or Malacisti.

    AD&D 1E Dragon Reflections #31

Did Tolkien elves really hate dwarves beyond Legolas's people in The Hobbit? Also I thought practically no one used mithril in the current era?

The Troubleshooters: 60's Cartoon Themed RPG

Yeah I know. I remember stuff like their Scooby Doo parody

The Troubleshooters: 60's Cartoon Themed RPG

The Venture Brothers is hilarious. And truth be told, superscientist dads taking their 12-13 year old son and his friend on their dangerous adventures is not exactly great for mental health, as both Rusty Venture and "Action Johnny" show.

The Troubleshooters: 60's Cartoon Themed RPG

There was also Johnny Quest: The Real Adventures from the 1990s. And yeah, Johnny Quest was a grest cartoon example of superscientists taking their children along with them on dangerous adventures. To the point Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law made a hilarious episode about it.

    AD&D 1E Dragon Reflections #31

Was it explicit or gratuitous in some way?

D&D 5E (2014) Kickstarter: Humblewood Campaign Setting, featuring cute birds saving their forest

Won't they and other races be appearing in another book set in Humblewood's world? IIRC the cats came from the west or something.

D&D 5E (2014) The Camlann Chronicles Kickstarter - Welsh Arthurian Campaign for 5e and the Lore 100 System - Kickstarter now live

That's kind of unfortunate. Well hopefully, you'll be able to implement those changes into Season 2, fro what you've said. Because it would be kind of neat to see these little touches to show that this isn't your standard generic medieval fantasy setting. Like it was neat with how Dark Sun did...

D&D 5E (2014) The Camlann Chronicles Kickstarter - Welsh Arthurian Campaign for 5e and the Lore 100 System - Kickstarter now live

I've seen at least 5 Norse-inspired settings for 5e D&D: Journey to Ragnarok, Svilland, Iskloft, Mithgarthr, and Dragon Heresy. For Mithgarthr, there is a free version they offer that has no art. That's about the only difference between the version you pay for and the version that is free IIRC.

    D&D 5E (2014) Question about 5e Forgotten Realms

A better question to ask might be, what was the point of the Spellplague in the first place? What was the need for the various officiL weird shakeups that heralded each new edition of Forgotten Realms? Why couldn't it have simply just released the same Realms but in a new edition?

D&D 5E (2014) The Camlann Chronicles Kickstarter - Welsh Arthurian Campaign for 5e and the Lore 100 System - Kickstarter now live

Does that mean stuff like equipment & currency, and lifestyle expenses regarding currency, may be different from the default D&D 5e assumptions in the SRD?

D&D 5E (2014) The Camlann Chronicles Kickstarter - Welsh Arthurian Campaign for 5e and the Lore 100 System - Kickstarter now live

    1) Surfing Knight on the Carp is great. :D 2) Honestly, this seems more interesting for the fact it isn't another 5e D&D 3PP setting that is Viking-inspired. You don't really see Welsh Arthur much. Everything in popular fiction seems to mostly be based on the Mallory version or whatever the...

D&D General Lore Questions About Spelljamming Uses of Magic, Cosmology, Metaphysics

What D&D settings, official or 3rd party, have gotten major city population numbers correct or close to what they probably should be, in your minds?

Explore Far Distant Worlds in the Traveller Core Rulebook

Beyond Mindjammer, has anyone else done 3rd party settings that aren't connected to the 3rd Imperium, and not set in the Original Traveller Universe as well, for Mongoose Traveller 2e?

D&D General Lore Questions About Spelljamming Uses of Magic, Cosmology, Metaphysics

Is that why so many great and powerful cities in lots of D&D settings have populations often only in the low hundred thousands?

Explore Far Distant Worlds in the Traveller Core Rulebook

I don't think 2300AD can work with modern star charts because that would totally invalidate the Arms, or how the American Arm has that potential backdoor into Kafer space.

Explore Far Distant Worlds in the Traveller Core Rulebook

Beyond Mindjammer, are there any other 3rd party product settings for Mongoose Traveller 2e?

Explore Far Distant Worlds in the Traveller Core Rulebook

Both are neat. Orbital focuses more on scientific mission stuff, while also mentioning things like the superrich having a special space station made for them by some super investor while Hostile has stuff for Traveller type merchants (except here you're either working for a megacorporation or a...
