Caverns of Thracia and White Plume Mountain advice needed

Who are your players? Former players or new to the hobby? I'm thinking that Keep on the Borderlands could be a better introduction module for beginners than White Plume mountain. I'm sadly not familiar with Caverns of Thracia. Back on your questions, I suggest reading this for adapting White...

D&D 5E (2014) Necromancer Games--What do you want us to make next?

Wow, that's a lot of answers! I would prefer that Necromancer Games works on new things instead of updating their 3E material. A new campaign setting, done by Necromancer Games, with a 1st edition vibe, could be awesome.

D&D 3.x What great third party 3E product did I miss?

I shall hunt down the book of the righteous right away. :) I didn't follow Dragonlance or Ravenloft at all in the third edition era. I still have difficulty figuring out how to do adventures in Dragonlance outside the main events.

D&D 3.x What great third party 3E product did I miss?

Many of the products mentioned, I've been aware of, but it's just not grabbing me. I know that Dragonstar was somewhat popular but the setting doesn't work for me. I bought the first module and never got around to reading it until I had to spent a few days in the hospital looking over my...

I suck at DMing. Can anyone help?

On a lighter note, I'm surprised no one mentioned Bill Cavalier. He probably has kick-ass suggestions on how not to suck as a DM.

    Greg Tito Is UHURA!

They've been working on D&D Next and 5E for 2 or 3 years? I find it odd that they are looking for a communication officer now. What is there to communicate now? They have a 10+ persons team and almost no product to hype or sell. Maybe I'm thinking too much about tabletop and not enough for...

13th Age: what would you like to see next?

Great convention adventures! One of the thing that I appreciate a lot from 13th Age, it's the convention adventures at GenCon. I don't remember the name of the DM that I had, but he was top notch. Sadly, I'm not involved in any 13th Age game right now.

D&D 3.x What great third party 3E product did I miss?

D&D 3.x What great third party 3E product did I miss?

Hello everyone, I love books. I love to read them and collect them. I have a lot of books from the 3E era, most of them published by third party companies. I'm curious to know which great books from that era I'm missing in my collection and I should read. I'm especially curious toward settings...

Is This A New Challenger to the World's Best Gaming Room Crown?

I showed the pictures to my wife, who is also a gamer. She was quite impressed! She asked me if I ever wanted to do something like that in the basement and I jumped on the occasion by saying suuuure. So thanks for starting the discussion for me. :)

If going the Savage Worlds route... would Interface Zero be a good candidate rule-wise to emulate Shadowrun?

Best dungeon crawl adventure of all time

I bought a bunch of old game D&D adventures as a christmas gift for myself. Amongst them is Expedition to the Barrier Peaks. My god! What a module that is! I don't remember the last time an adventure left me speechless.
