Roderic
With the last ounce of his strength, the young paladin calls upon the blessings of Heironeous to staunch the worst of his wound. ((Lay on hands to heal 4 HP))
Alarion of Tovarre
"Pardon me, sir. Formal introductions must wait." He turns to a guardsman. "Send someone to the other gates! We must know if Master Chorus has been seen to leave this castle!"
Alarion's badge is proudly displayed upon his armor. He looks curiously at the newcomer. "A fellow constable, I see.. Did you by any chance see a miscreant fleeing the manor-house as you approached?"
Alarion of Tovarre
Alarion calls out to Raul as he runs: "We chase a vile poisoner.. Have them close the gates, lest he be using sorcery to remain unseen!"
Errr no Athletics skill in 3.5, boss. Should we roll initiative and compare speeds? Dex check? Maybe a Strength check as Alarion bulls his way through?
Alarion of Tovarre
"That dastardly villain... someone may wish to search this room, but we may yet be able to catch him!"
Alarion musters all the speed he can in a fully-armored sprint for the keep's entrance. (Very subtle, I know...)
Loosening his broadsword in it's scabbard, Alarion addresses. Matilda. "You had best step back, madam." He then pounds on the door with a gaunteleted fist.
"Yeosham Chorus, we must speak!"
Alarion of Tovarre
"Nonsense, my lord. You shall joust again. But before we cross lances as friendly competitors, your strength may be needed here... Let us see to this Yeosham first." With that, Alarion follows Matilda.
Alarion of Tovarre
"Your company would be most welcome, good Kulvo. Sir UpJohn, may one of your staff please show us where we can find this miscreant?"
Eldran produces his simple mess kit, and gratefully accepts a share of the hearty meal. "Thank you, master dwarf," he says in common to the one who serves him.
