Currently I have no intention of buying 4e at all. My group tried the preview games and the 4e-lite book and our reaction was between disappointed and utterly horrified. I would download and read them through to see if perhaps the full rule set has enough changes in it to earn my money.

Grapple has been a pain in the arse. The only time we've used them is with one pc who was a warforged fighter with Improved Grapple, Spiked Body, Jaws of Death, and a freakish strength. We called him the meat grinder. But again, if your character or monster is built for it, you win. If not...

They did the right thing in the style of this film, I think...you have to go hyper-surreal. Any attempt to do this realistically would just fall flat on its face. That said, I'm undecided.

I've done the same as Hejdon...use google maps or google earth to find a coast line or island I like. Then I copy that into the Gimp or paint.net, trace the outline, and color or adjust it until I like it. It's taken a while to get good at it, but I'm really starting to like my results...
