Not With a Bang, I: Its Own Reward

Grunlor Grunlor opens up his mind and stares at the goblin cleric, looking for the aura of evil. After that, he quickly reviews the main room for the same.

Not With a Bang, I: Its Own Reward

Sorry, should have read the history. Grunlor will then try to use his meager diplomacy (+3) skills to find out what is going on here.

Not With a Bang, I: Its Own Reward

Grunlor Not having ever been in a goblin cave before, Grunlor doesn't have any frame of reference, though it does seem a bit odd that they live so well. (OOC: Grunlor has +1 on Knowlege(religion). I'm guessing Mossus is a goblin cleric, but can get a roll to see if I know who it is?)...

Not With a Bang, I: Its Own Reward

Grunlor starts after Nojin. "He must have not heard me" mutters Grunlor, "My pappy always said left (or down) when given a choice! ... Amatuers!"

    Not With a Bang OOC

The more the merrier.... Go ahead and recruit... We're still pretty much in the beginning of this thing, so it's not like they'd be coming late to the party.

[EN World Book Club] Suggestions & Selectors

Let's try to hold off on discussion or comments for Pattern Recognition until discussion opens in January. I'd rather not color or taint anyones perceptions of the book prior to reading it (including my own). Thanks.

Looking for 3E D&D Game In NYC Area

Sorry, wasn't clear in my post. We play at my house (in Bellmore), but the campaign itself is full. I've got seven active players and one or two who are on something like a wait list. Check out that yahoo group in my previous post though, it's a pretty well read resource.

Not With a Bang, I: Its Own Reward

Grunlor "Och, that helped. I'm still feeling a bit of pain though. Is there any other healing to spare?" (OOC: Currently at 6 of 12 hp)

    NeMoren's Vault - Help!

You have no idea how cool it was to boot up my laptop with wireless card at the table when the game session was over (to calculate & track XP distribution) and I said, "Let me check ENWorld to see if anyone responded to my request for the sword info" and have one of the AUTHORS of the module...

    NeMoren's Vault - Help!

Anyone have NeMoren's Vault? I've got the module somewhere. One of my PC's has the Flamesinger sword from that mod. It's a level advancing weapon and he recently leveled. He's asking if the sword has gotten any more powers, and I can find the module! Can anyone help out and post...

    Making my own battlemat...

The D&D minis are made for use on 1" square battlemats/tile grids. As they become more popular, your players may start to use them. Or you may start using the monsters (which are cool). The larger monsters (5x10 or 10x10) have appropriate size bases too. A 3/4" scale would throw that off...

Not With a Bang, I: Its Own Reward

Grunlor "Let's move then. By Telenn's Light!", shouts Grunlor. He then looks behind him and says somewhat sheepishly, "what? It's not like the gobblers don't know we're here." (OOC: Laz, can you give an update on the hp status? I'm pretty sure Grunlor was hit earlier, but don't see it now...

[EN World Book Club] Tigana Discussion [October Selection]

The Fionavar Tapestry was a very good series. As said earlier, a great treatment of a common base. I think though, that Kay's work got better over time. The Sarantine Mosaic was great, and I consider Tigana my favorite Kay novel. I think that over time, his writing got more developed...

Not With a Bang, I: Its Own Reward

Grunlor "I agree. We should drop back to the edge of the hallway here where it meets the 'T'. That is more easily defended and we can take cover." "Or, we could just charge down one of these corridors. I suggest the left. My pappy said 'When given a choice, always go left. Or down. But...

Chrisis Over for now. (I'm going insane! Need help from my friends!)

How does she know she want's to marry him then? I mean, what's so great about this guy that she is so afraid of losing him. Maybe she's really in love with the translator.....???? Seriously, you should sit down with her and share your concerns. Maybe this is a reaction by your sister to...

[EN World Book Club] Tigana Discussion [October Selection]

I was wondering a bit about the low reponse here myself. Maybe Tigana is one of those books that you need to internalize a bit before really getting it. I wonder how many people read it for the EN World Book Club? Maybe we're just not getting a high level of participation. Or, a bunch of...
