    PDF Product Ideas

I was just kidding. :) I'm not creating a pdf company here, i'm just trying to raise a little cash. I think they'll sell well enough for that. The reason i'm shooting for utility products is precisely to differentiate from "just another monster book." I'm trying to create time-savers, things DMs...

    Encounter Tables by Terrain

Wilderness & Wastelands had them, and it had a creation system for making your own. Their tables had a bunch of stuff from CC1 and CC2, though, IIRC.

The idea must be gold if pdf publishers are invading my thread to poo on the ideas! :p

You mean like 18s across the board? :p

I don't have it either, so I don't know if it covers it or not. Heck, it might cover both #2 and #3 for all I know.

    PDF Product Ideas

I think this is ok here, rather than buried in E-Publishing. :) I'm thinking of putting some pdfs together to raise some airfare funds for Gencon (in another thread I explained how our road trip was rudely pulled out from under us a few days ago (for good reason, I say rude with love ;) )...

So let's talk seriously about scheduling ENWorlder games at GenCon...

EDIT: Never mind, True Dungeon beckons Thursday night. I'm determined to do more gaming this year, so I might add a game of my own to the schedule...let me see how things are shaping up for me.

Austin to Indy in 18 hours! (Seeking roadtrip homies)

Having done it the last two years, I agree, I'm sick of it. :) The drive back is the most brutal, really. Maybe I should make some pdfs and have an Airfare for Dwarfy sale on RPG Now. :)

Sorry - I think the point was missed...

This may be a first in the history of RPGs. I vote this post be enshrined in the RPG Hall of Fame.

Austin to Indy in 18 hours! (Seeking roadtrip homies)

Well, notice I said 15 hours in another thread. :)

Austin to Indy in 18 hours! (Seeking roadtrip homies)

Road trippers look forward, not to page 2!

Austin to Indy in 18 hours! (Seeking roadtrip homies)

It's about equidistant, Indy might be a bit closer if you went up 55 to I-70 from Memphis. Both are about a 15-hour drive. I've done both drives a half-dozen times...I thought our trip was set, but the guy we were going with just dropped out yesterday...grr. So, now we're looking for a new road...

    Dragon 334, Malhavoc's Surprise = Ptolus

Damn you! I just came back to edit it. :) Interestingly, Ari and I *did* go to college together, and only recently met back up through our mutual participation in the game industry.

Austin to Indy in 18 hours! (Seeking roadtrip homies)

Ok, so Bree and I might be driving to Gencon yet again this year, and we're looking for people to share the drive with us. We'd likely be leaving late Tuesday or early Wednesday, and coming back on Monday. We're leaving from either Austin or Dallas and will even pick you up in between (means...

    Dragon 334, Malhavoc's Surprise = Ptolus

Well, what I"m saying is that unless you know you are turning out the perfect game, then how could you be offended at the idea that you'd be able to go back and fix your mistakes and make an even better game? That's what I mean. When I heard Midnight was going to a fully revised 2nd edition, I...

    Dragon 334, Malhavoc's Surprise = Ptolus

A lot of people would be thrilled to work on a game with that kind of support structure, actually. A lot of people that aren't 100% perfect in every way, that is. :) I've not had the pleasure of working on a game with the kind of development time and resources devoted to it that Monte has...he's...

    Dragon 334, Malhavoc's Surprise = Ptolus

Did the 3e design team believe that they had produced a 100% errata-free One Game that would be the end-all-be-all of the D&D/RPG experience? :)
