Probably a stupid question, but will there be pregens?

The last time I went to GenCon it was at Mecca 10 years ago. I have no idea how Indie works. Could someone give me a quick primer on how I should meet up with my players for an after-hours game, or where I should look for play space?

The perfect answer in my book, though I would offer to pass any suggestions along.
