I've started running it by email. I let players continue with older chars or make new ones. Telling them to describe to me how they got caught by drow was the campaign intro. I'm not promising any gear, and they haven't asked yet, though I think some drow would have lock picks and a spellbook...

Dunno if its been said already, but there's totally an opportunity for an angry anti drow ranger DM to have Drizzt in the campaign and have him end ignominiously. Change the name of the Spore Drow from the opening jail scene and you have a tragic shell of a former hero, wandering in a daze...

Its really the players' choice. They can attack the demons one by one. They aren't super hard to find. The only problem is that any one of them at full strength will probly shred a 15th level party.

The wisest course of action is for the heroes to lie in wait and battle the survivor of the battle royal. They can get involved as early as they want, but they'll get whipped.

Those are both pretty cool encounter sites.

Last week I was rolling this sweet 8 sided weather die. It has little weather icons on each side.

DCC dungeons work great. I ran "The Jeweler Who Dealt in Stardust" as a 3 hour session of 5e and it went really well.
