    4th lvl. smackdown?

I would assume the crescent knife works like shuriken, and only allow sneak attack damage on ONE of the two attacks. I guess, since I don't have OA, so I have no idea how that iaijutsu focus works either...but it should work the same as sneak attack I think. Why would you just attack once with...

    A petition...

I dunno, I think it should be a rule that no one can use hammymchamham as a pc name, nor use that as a user name on any message board.:D Seriously, if you want to leave, I'm all for it. I will support you 100%. So, what's your new user name going to be?

    Do Uncanny Dodge levels stack?

Yep, they stack. However, realize there are other ways to deny you your dex bonus besides being flat-footed. You can still be sneak attacked if pinned, stunned, grappled, asleep, held, paralyzed, or otherwise rendered helpless.

    True Strike and Invisibility question

Re: True Strike: Seeing the future. He does gain insight...DURING the attack. After shooting an arrow off into an area where no enemies are, he feels a sense of stupidity for casting a spell that would help him attack a target he was HOPING existed. That is his insight.:D For 12.5 gp and 1...

    True Strike and Invisibility question

I would like to direct everyone's attention to the 'Seeking' weapon enhancement from Sword and Fist. It negates miss chances caused from any source IIRC, but you still have to know where the target is. You can't just fire straight up in the sky and hope the arrow "knows" there's some invisible...

Song and Silence, pg. 36 right hand column: "Tail Someone: Since the Hide skill allows for movement, you can use it as a move-equivalent action or part of a move action:D if desired." S&S, pg. 37 left hand column: "Sniping: If you've already successfully hidden at least 10 feet from your...

    Speed and Haste stacking?

I'm curious if there is an official ruling on whether multiple weapons of speed work together, for example a VERY high level Fang of Lolth wielding 6 weapons of speed and getting an extra 6 attacks (17 attacks w/Expert Tactician). Forget the cost of the weapons, I just want to know the RULES...

    Spring Attack related question...

back on topic This discussion of partial actions is going off topic. I'd really like to hear someone else's opinion of what the term used in Expert Tactician means. I'm referring to the term, "normal action". You can only use the feat before or after your "normal action". Our group has...

A double move is a full round action, so what is your point?

    Spring Attack related question...

No, you don't substitute a move for an action. The move is a part of the standard action. You may subsitute a M-E action for the move though. You have it backwards. And no, you cannot substitute a partial action EVER. You can ready a partial action, but that is not substituting. You are...

    Lightning Fists... I'm confused...

It does have Imp. Unarmed Strike as a prereq. You have to be a 4th level monk right? They get it at 1st level. Through a combination of the errata linked above, the statement off the FAQ ("Lightning Fists works exactly like a flurry of blows, except that you add two extra attacks and you...

    Spring Attack related question...

Actually, the real debate is what they mean by "normal or regular" action (can't remember which word they use) in the description of the Expert Tactician feat. I interpret this to mean a standard or full-round action. This interpretation makes all of your points moot. Now, whether the action...

    Spring Attack related question...

Here they are saying the action (usually an attack) is an activity of the standard action. Movement is still part of the standard action, and hence IS an action. I don't have my books handy, so I can't provide any other help with rules quotes. Yes, you get a move and an action, but that...

    Spring Attack related question...

Re: Re: Re: Spring Attack related question... A standard ACTION is not an action? That's how we've been playing it. If movement is not an action, what is it? The feat says, 'before or after your normal action', not ATTACK action. I think normal action refers to either a standard or...

    Powerful Halfling character?

Well, I never...!:D My halfling rogue/wizard/ranger/fighter/temple raider of Brandobaris(house rule change from Olidammara) has the most hit points (we have no pure fighters), highest ac, and highest saves in the party. Note, I had a good background written up, and we play a high magic...

    Spring Attack related question...

First of all, the extra attack from ET must be taken before or after your normal action. *I* would define normal action to include the partial action from Haste, but this would be a good question for the Sage to clarify. So, depending on what the answer to THAT is, you'd need to either end or...
