Weapon Master vs. Exotic Weapon Master

Yep, there's tradeoffs. A human, dwarf, or half-elf could do it w/no exp penalties. Notice, that I said you could take one AND/OR the other, so if you don't want to lose 2 points of BAB just take the rogue level. I think it's better than taking 3 feats, even as a fighter. Personally, I'd try...

Weapon Master vs. Exotic Weapon Master

It's not such a big deal. Let's forget taking a monk level.:D Instead, you could take a level of bard and/or rogue for 1 or 2 free EWP's. And the prereq. for rage is just stupid imo. This prc should've been in S&F.

Point Blank Shot and Far Shot

I agree. It doesn't make sense. Look at it this way. Let's say you take far shot and point blank shot. If you allow far shot to effect the 30' range of pbs, which would be a house rule btw, you suddenly make thrown weapons MORE accurate than projectile weapons! Example, a shortspear would...

Point Blank Shot and Far Shot

Re: Re: Nope Please carefully read the rules I quoted, and Icebear's last post. You are not playing 3E combat correctly if you are allowing BOTH a move-equivalent AND a standard action in the same round. The move-equivalent action (or MOVE) takes place INSIDE the standard action. I don't...

Point Blank Shot and Far Shot

Nope "Move-Equivalent Action: Move-equivalent actions take the place of movement in a standard action or take the place of an entire partial action. The combatant can normally also take a 5 foot step. Standard Action: A standard action allows a combatant to do something and move a...

Is the Arcan Trickster (T&B) a playable prestige class?

You'll need 4 levels of rogue to get 7 ranks in Decipher Script, as has been pointed out. So, to not lose exp, you'll need 2 more levels of barb and 2 more levels of rogue before going AT. That is, unless that other PrC you took has Decipher Script, in which case you don't.

Point Blank Shot and Far Shot

Actually, to be picky, you can't double move and attack in the same round without something like haste or expert tactician as far as I know. You CAN charge though. Can someone else confirm whether or not the other poster was correct in his statement about being able to MOVE, then CHARGE, and...

    Quickdraw Feat=Useless

Re: Um, no. The haversack won't help except for blunt weapons. But I'm not aware of the rule you are guessing at. Why should you be restricted to making the exact same attack routine every time? That seems illogical and well...boring! Besides that, I don't think it's a rule. Cite a page...

    Can't sneak attack in dungeons?

Before one of your wizards try to be cute, make sure to tell them Shield won't help since it's a cover BONUS, and not actual cover.:D

    Can't sneak attack in dungeons?

It is too bad they didn't define light fog and moderate darkness better. Not to mention light foilage! I would think a dense fog at 5' would be better than 20% myself. To me dense fog means you can't see jack. A light fog would be more open and only conceal portions of the surroundings...

    Can't sneak attack in dungeons?

Dude, you're rather trigger-happy. Go read the spell again. EDIT:I was a bit late, seems others corrected you first. Had I noticed, I wouldn't have bothered adding this comment.

    Quickdraw Feat=Useless

Just thought of a good tactic using this feat. A TWF rogue or even fighter monkey gripping a great sword. Assuming you had a foe within 10' (so if needed you could just 5' step), you could make all of your iterative attacks with the great sword using 2 hands, getting 1.5Xstrength bonus...

    Can't sneak attack in dungeons?

These are specific circumstances. These ARE rules here. Check the concealment chart in the PHB or SRD. Early in the morning there is often times a light fog. By the rules, this would prevent sneak attacks. Light foilage does the same thing. Any amount of darkness (moderate and above, open...

    Super-Duper AC Man Returns!

I don't think so. My monk used bracers of armor and a ring of force shield. They don't weigh anything, so they shouldn't effect you like actually wearing encumbering armor.

    Assassin sneak attack (flanking?)

This WAS corrected in the DMG errata. They are the same as the rogue's. All sneak attacks work the same. Look at all the classes in S&S. It's just a mistake they missed.

New and Different Question about Shield
