On a side note, if the campaign is set in a desert, you might want to look at the Lord of Tides PrC from Sandstorm. Handy water-finding abilities and full (I think) spellcasting progression.

It's not a spell-like ability, and it doesn't reference the spell. Thus, it doesn't act like it. (So, you remain invisible until the full time is up, even while attacking.)

The Spell Compendium has spells for all the core spellcasters, as far as I know.

Actually, you can't take a rank of Speak Language in druidic. The only way to ever gain the language is by taking at least one level in druid.

By the RAW of 3.x, you don't need any training to take levels in a class. Just the requisite experience points (and possibility other limiters like alignment, skill ranks, etc).

There are some handy items that come to mind. There's what's basically the alchemical equivalent of a gas mask in Savage Species; there's an automated climbing spool (than can even pull you up the rope attached) in the same book; and there's basically the D&D-ized equivalent of a Fremen...

I wouldn't use it--at least, not unless that effect only happened while I was wielding it.. and I had gloves of storing or similar.

If you can get your hands on it, take a look at Complete Adventurer. There are some good paladin/rogue PrCs in there, as well as some straight-paladin but 'darker' progression prestige classes.

There's a 'Net and Trident' Weapon Style feat in Complete Warrior, if you can get your hands on that long enough to copy it down.

Undead with the Evolved Undead template from Libris Mortis (+1 LA for each time it's assigned) get fast healing 3 (which increases by 3 each time the template is assigned).

I'm looking to play a gnome, actually--I'm mainly interested in finding other things that could augment that class's own improvements.

I'm looking at making a wizard who's a specialist in shadow and similar spells. I know there's a gnome-only PrC focused on it in Races of Stone, but any other class or feat suggestions?
