    DDM: Chicks not in chainmail

Paladin of Torm (greatsword, human female) Alusair Obarskyr (sword & Shield, human female) Sword of Heironeous (sword & shield, human female) Thayan Knight (human female, sword & Shield) Kalashtar Bodyguard (human female, greatsword) Devotee of the Silver flame (looks female, sword + shield)...

    DDM: Chicks not in chainmail

They do have two; the fire genasi Dervish, and the Air Genasi flying-on-a-cloud-guy. Both are from slightly older sets, but they're decent. The sculpt on the air genasi is awesome.

Arcane Power Art Gallery: Welcome back, old friends

That dude did a ton of the art from the Wheel of Time RPG. Always liked his style.

Difficulties using the dungeon tiles from Wizards of the Coast

Once I started using the sticky-tac stuff, I've had almost no qualms or issues using dungeon tiles. I still don't use them as often as I use my Fantastic Locations maps, but they get plenty of play at the table.

    After game debriefing

I always do (I also have a forum on our campaign site dedicated to "what you thought of the game". It's incredibly hard to be critical to friends, so I provide the forum so people can say their peace without people butting-in and getting angry. However, despite that, I usually get the same...

Give Me Your Campaign Wiki Advice!

Organizations/religions and what they think of eachother. If you've only got 4 gods in the campaign world, then explain what the followers think of eachother (obviously harder if you use a very large pantheon), same goes for what the "class" archetypes think of eachother (martial classes VS...

Are you a Player or GM?

From 1999 to now (my entire history of gaming), I have played in about 3 games that lasted more than 3-4 sessions. From 1999 to now I have gone no more than 3 months without a gaming session. So, figuring that math (carry the one, subtract the moose, scratch the alphabet...), I'm pretty much...

    "Map Folio" interest?

ahh, my bad, then. No interest in the map folio's.

    "Map Folio" interest?

The map-packs in question aren't poster maps. Instead, they're a bunch of 5x7 (I think that's correct) size cards that, when put together, give you a small arena, or a gate-house, etc... You have to tape/stiky-tac them together or they'll slide (even moreso than the dungeon tiles) and they're...

    "Map Folio" interest?

I have to click yes because I have already purchased some of the map-packs. However, they're not as awesome as I would have liked. For one, they're not "interchangeable", so you're pretty much building one map/room, whatever. Second, because they're in pieces you either have to tape them or...

How do you feel about Skill Challenges?

One thing I've been doing to get around the "guy with highest X rolls for that skill" is make it more of an interactive situation. When the Barbarian with the unfailable endurance check goes, maybe he can't do endurance because he has to jump out of the way (athletics), or he's lost his...

GMs: How long is your typical campaign?

I tend to run games that last between 10-20 sessions (each session being roughly 4-5 hours). I prefer shorter stories rather than long-running campaigns. It's not uncommon to revisit the characters in another short-campaign, furthering their adventures. We play almost all games using D&D...

Familiars - can someone give me a quick overview?

I wouldn't say it's "drastically" different, just different. The biggest changes are: No loss of xp/level for losing a familiar (they're almost expendable, as it's treated more like a spirit/entity that posesses the cat/book/skull) You still get bonuses associated with the creatures, and most...

Campaign Wikis are A lot of Work!

I'm in the same boat; especially since I'm using a very homebrew game (only human races, only specific gods, etc..). I've got to give explanations on everything. It's lots of fun, though. I really enjoy dropping little easter-eggs through the wiki; little explanations of a historical battle...

What should the DDI Campaign Tool do?

That is a good question, Ken. Since much of that already exists out there in some format (blogs/wikis/photoshop, etc...), the best way to make this useful is to tie it heavily towards D&D. I.e. have a built-in reference wiki so when I mention Pelor in a blog, it's automatically linked to the...

    Stop smoking, the D&D way!

I'm going to OGL this into getting exercise. Since my job is largely sitting at a desk not moving and my most frequent hoby is...well, that's sort of obvious (psst..it's D&D), I don't get as much exercise as I used to. My character will be Hugemongor the Engorged lvl 1 Binger (definitely a...

How do you feel about Skill Challenges?

I love them, but wish there were more expanded ways to use them. Often, they begin to feel a bit "same as it ever was", due to the skills and suggestions of use. As such, most of my time is actually spent working them into unique situations. It's a lot of fun, but I do wish there were more...

An online POD service for large poster maps?

Whatever you do find, please let me know. I'm just a spoiled when it comes to using maps and would love a decent option to print large scale. Also, as an alternative, Paizo does have some pretty decent flip-maps available on their site. They're not unreasonable at $12 a pop, and they are...

    Get Familiar

Well, it does mention something in the article about "familiars that look like objects", so maybe they'll have something like that.
