Well, it is a bit of work, but it's not as much as that makes it out to be. It only takes a minute or so. Unfortunately, the designer isn't currently working on the tool at all, so an update may not happen (forcing me to start praying for an Adventure Tool that does this in the near future)

Doubly so, for me. We keep the character sheets in personal binders at the game-place, that way no one forgets them. Each player sends the DM their .ddi character file from the Character builder so he has a copy on his laptop, just in case. We haven't had any issues since doing so...
