I feel like dagger heart strayed too far from traditional systems incorporating a lot of meta currency and forced narrative mechanics that makes homebrewing and GM improvising a lot more difficult. The original booklet of hacks for 5e was really good and fans demanded a full rules set. While I am not running any 5e (with no plans to) I really liked the changes Nimble made and the new rules look even better with fully revamped magic and monsters.

While I admittedly haven’t played many supers games the one that stands out was run with Risus. Lightweight rules set, use of tropes, simple conflict resolution system that could be potentially added to, to make them more complicated and give you more variety of results.
