D&D General Mike Mearls' blog post about RPG generations

But it's headed in a definite design direction Post-Xanathar's (IMO), and that direction may not be the one he imagined or desired.

Level Up (A5E) Druid Skinchanger AC 22 with shield +1 when wild shaped at level 8

I'd say the only thing to remember is that donning/doffing a shield takes an action... the druid would have to be carrying (not wearing) the shield, then when the fight starts they'll drop the shield, BA shift, and action strap on the shield. Technically it'd take an item interaction to free the...

Which Chips (or Fries) Are the Best?

I'm not sure where you're getting that idea- freezing foods generally does not destroy "a lot of the nutritional value."

Which Chips (or Fries) Are the Best?

Yeah it's something I only learned a year or two ago- my wife's diabetic so it was very interesting to compare her blood sugar response to fresh rice or oatmeal, vs. the food after it'd been in the fridge or freezer overnight. Basically, refrigerating or freezing already-cooked starchy foods...

They're not in danger, they're posing for the camera.

Which Chips (or Fries) Are the Best?

I mean, it was a joke (make up for lower vitamin C by just eating more fries!) but... is that right? I thought the GI of most oils were zero.

Which Chips (or Fries) Are the Best?

Perhaps, but freezing cooked starchy foods (potatoes, pasta, rice) also drastically lowers their glycemic impact... so if that's a concern, you can now eat more fries to make up the difference!

Which Chips (or Fries) Are the Best?

OK so Nathan's aren't just crinkle-cut, they're jumbo crinkle-cut. So like, crinkle steak-fries. it's a significant difference, IMO. But they're my favorite.. I still appreciate ones regular nice n' crispy fries, though!

Which Chips (or Fries) Are the Best?

Nathan's Fries.. I'm not sure what they'd be classified as? I really enjoy sweet potato fries as well but I almost think they should be a different category.

Heroes of the Borderlands Starter Set Price Point Revealed

I think LMoP also acquired the (deserved) reputation for being a particularly good starting adventure. Not sure why the others didn't take as well.

D&D In a Castle Organizer to Launch D&D Dungeon Master University

I never would have started if my wife hadn't pushed me to give it a go after I left my law clerk job! The taboo of pay to play was baked into me at a young age 😆 The fancy stuff is for me really, because I'm running online- like I said, I was already spending $$$ on maps etc for running online...

D&D In a Castle Organizer to Launch D&D Dungeon Master University

I think there's a misconception that if you're running games for pay, you're going to avoid killing PCs because you're afraid of what'll happen, that they'll leave the game, etc... but the desire is for the right players to find the right GMs for them- so while they may be unhappy if a character...

D&D In a Castle Organizer to Launch D&D Dungeon Master University

Some of us have turned it into a full-time profession, but IME it's definitely more of an exception (I think it's mostly luck, finding people that're willing to pay a high price and value your skills). And like any other entertainment job, it can be volatile (even if they love your games...

D&D In a Castle Organizer to Launch D&D Dungeon Master University

Whenever anyone talks "pro GM(ing)" I imagine that they're referring to the paid occupation... but yeah some folk might just be referring to "being good at it."
