I understand it's different from 5E, but none of these comparisons make sense when compared to AD&D, the game we're saying it's related to. If I described Hackmaster as fresh take of AD&D with aspects of Rolemaster rolled in (isn't that how Rolemaster started anyways?), how would you disagree...

@Jd Smith1 Yeah, we know. But to say Hackmaster "has nothing to do with D&D" when it's entire foundation is based off D&D is an odd thing to say. "Crunchy spiritual successor to D&D" would be a better descriptor I think.
