It hasnt come up yet, but since part of the original UA said other wizards cannot copy spells you learned this way, I favor the interpretation that only Magi could use such scrolls.

I did not say 2e was a failure. Im saying after time and poor decisions it became one. I.e. not an edition issue,

IMO, releasing 2E was a successful decision, it was the splat overload, too many settings lines, etc, that was the bad decision. I.e. overloading the demand for product to the extent that "average" players had to choose what to buy out of the multitudes of choices.

No for redoing older books to 2024. Yes for new books coming out for 2024.

Addendum: You could still have creatures that had resistance/immunity to "magical" weapons, I just wouldnt put that and "silver" on the same creature.

I have thought that perhaps the +1, +2 of "magic" weapons is merely magically enhanced accuracy and damage (a valuable attribute to be sure), but that it does not affect resistances to type or material.* I.e. A weapon would still need silver to affect jackalweres, even if it was a +1. *the...
