WotC invites the Stinky Dragons actual play podcast to come in and play the Heros of the Borderlands box from scratch. I do like the experiment. I’d love to have work invite another podcast that has never played and show that too.

I don’t have the quite handy and don’t know about any sales impact but someone from WotC said that the version numbers in the title confused customers. For example some thought PHB2 was the second edition of the PHB instead of the second PHB in a line of PHBs. Like Windows 10 vs Windows 11.

Dang it now looking at that Beadle & Grimm ne box set I might have to move the keep there.

There are a lot of starter sets to model as examples that also have this “problem” Most of them have it to some degree I think. And many of them also have e a free download some thing like a Free RPG Day pdf or a free ddb account. Still seems like a good idea, they keep getting made.
