This is a much better method of counting games rather than what people put on their profile. Although it doesn't give total number of games. Also does this count when GM's are prepping for their games, or only when players are connecting to their sheets?

I don't mind them having the non-open content, if they could clearly mark what is OGL, what is IP, and what is non-OGL. Also, are there any changes expected in the Community Use Policy? That's what we use at PCGen.

It would depend on whether they were a demo client logging into a GM that has the Ultimate license, because client does have to ping the server to check the validity of the GM license. If they all have full licenses then they wouldn't be counted I imagine.

It would also not include people that have to use a VPN service because of IPv6 address issue.

No, AFAIK all the games that Doug reports on are from the GM client pinging the FG license server, so those are all active games, planning sessions or simply playing around. None of them would be non-active campaign. I remember this being discussed somewhere in one of the earlier posts.

I wonder if Doug has a stat for Demo sessions, or perhaps demo downloads that could be tracked.

It only appeared about 3-4ish weeks ago. I have a feeling that it has to do with possibly getting a rep point from somebody that was blocked because I cleared by block list and found I had a rep point from somebody I had blocked, and the count went down but there is this one last notification. :(
