Agreed across the board. It is a little curious why they haven't been able to keep the physical product in stock. I have a tough time believing it's only production constraints. Seems like they could have completed another run in this time, so I suspect there's a little something else to it...

Fair enough. I enjoy watching their games for entertainment value more than educational. I like watching CR games, just not using them to set my expectations for a game in real life. I'm more inclined to observe actual play at a local game store for that, where the vibe is...different.

I would love to find that source. I've found some anecdotal, unofficial claims of that, but nothing confirmed. I read where they publicly framed a stagger as normal and that it was done to let the team focus on and finish each title, pointing out that the 2014 core books were also released one...

At the extremes, sure, but it depends on what and how much we're talking about. If we're talking about 20 million copies of an embossed full-color 400-page hardbound during the Spring Festival that's different than 100,000 copies during the low season.
