Top 5 Tabletop RPGs Spring 2021: Cyberpunk Gains!

Very interesting development. Pathfinder dipping is surprising, I didn't think Cyberpunk would make that big an impact. Or is it Pathfinder having a slow spell? Anyways, happy to see Alien up there still.

TSR Just when you thought it was all over.... now there’s a fourth TSR!

A humorous take on "Tenkar" of Tenkar's Tavern, I believe. /M

TSR Just when you thought it was all over.... now there’s a fourth TSR!

Cool. If anyone has a D&D-clone laying around I think there's a publisher that might want to take a look at it! Carpe Diem! :D

TSR TSR3 Throws In Towel, Rebrands Wonderfilled

Confusion reigns supreme. Solarian is not Wonderfilled. TSR2 is now Solarian. TSR3 is now Wonderfilled. I have the deepest sympathy for Solarian, for them to be dragged into this chaos.

    Luke Crane Resigns From Kickstarter

We should also be aware of the fact that such cases are edge cases. There is no tornado of cancel culture ripping through the rpg industry.

    Luke Crane Resigns From Kickstarter

Jonathan Tweet being dropped by a publisher does not mean he's been cancelled. People are dropped all the time for various reasons. That tweet still don't explain Pelgrane's stance on things, so the information for me to answer your question is not available to me.

    Luke Crane Resigns From Kickstarter

I don't know. I tried reading up on the controversy but didn't really find the Pelgrane side of the debate. I guess sometimes things happen.

    Luke Crane Resigns From Kickstarter

I’ll take a stab at answering your questions. Yes. You might want to contact a few industry friends or just make a quick Google search on their name for further information. No. If it is a Kickstarter, like the situation that is the basis of this thread, then what you are selling is trust...

    Luke Crane Resigns From Kickstarter

It's a complex situation, I believe. In one extreme the project creator is beholden to no one and decides what measures should be taken. But they are to an extent beholden to the wishes of any creators they have involved, and should probably listen to them, lest the smoke of burning bridges...

    Luke Crane Resigns From Kickstarter

Sooooo ... this drama about Koebel is all very interesting ... but what about the actual thread topic, Luke Crane?

    Luke Crane Resigns From Kickstarter

Still not seeing the correlation to Luke Crane and his Kickstarter? Or were you answering another question? EDIT: Ah noticed you first quoted me intending to quote another poster.

    Luke Crane Resigns From Kickstarter

Lule Crane is not cancelled. He’s still fulfilling the Torchbearer Kickstarter and is free to create other Kickstarters at will. He gets quite a lot of support from backers there as well. He lost his job as VP of Community at Kickstarter, a position that is reliant on the trust of the...

    Luke Crane Resigns From Kickstarter

The CoC community has been dealing with that particular dilemma for quite a few years now. So I wouldn’t worry about them. Not that I see the correlation to Luke Crane and his Kickstarter, mind you.

    OOTS 1228: No Intention

While I still love OotS and the updates I feel that the last five pages or so have been a wee bit text-heavy. Hoping for more action soon!

In the end yeah, but he tried to destroy it before Miko did.

Pathfinder 2E Release Day Second Edition Amazon Sales Rank

That thread is over ten years old. Not a strong indicator as to the present impact of PDF sales. Although it is interesting that Paizo flat out says that offering an "only PDF" subscription would likely put them out of business. I wonder if that has changed since then.
