I pretty much like all of it. I would change how the healing works per power source, like Martial healing gives temp hit points - basically a morale boost - they can become normal hitpoints after combat only if someone succeeds on a heal check. Other than that I like the healing system.

I'm still excited as the playtesting comments have been pretty positive. Although some of the seminar stuff has been a little off for me. 4e will still be around and possibly supported so that's my backup. I'm pretty positive about the whole thing. Still excited. "How will it end??"

Well I'm a third of the way through starwars saga Dawn of Defiance and then I will probably run a 4e conversion of Savage Tide. Plenty to keep me busy while I watch how this unfolds. :P

There are 0-level optional rules in DDI now. They are pretty good and I'm planning on using them in my next 4e campaign. DDI is down for manintaince now, essentially they are alternate character creation rules and the DM runs a starter adventure. Rituals are awesome and I hope they keep them in...

None of the reasons you gave for keeping them are really good enough. They are pointless. Players just forget about that +1 sword after about 5 minutes unless it has another power. They add so little to the game that it would be best to ignore them. Thank God for inherent bonus' in 4e.
