Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive TTRPG Makes $1M In Under An Hour

Thank you all for the information on Brandon Sanderson. I know little about him other than my own "Wheel of Time" expierence (never finished the series, the RPG and the TV Series). I have no opinion on him as a writer, i just never gravitated to his books. I am older than probably his main...

Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive TTRPG Makes $1M In Under An Hour

Could explain why so people are jumping on this (>2Million today) and why its popular? I don't have any relation to the IP (I haven't read any of his books). I know about most things in the sphere of fantasy & sci-fi media (I am more targeted/picky in relation to books) but for whatever reason...

    Not DnD | Runecairn

Runecairn is pretty great, especially if your not gaming in large groups, solo, 2 people or 3 (including GM).

Moria Through the Doors of Durin Pre-Orders Open

I backed this, as well. For me personally i dislike how Free League differentiates between 5E titles and the normal line. I always think I'm missing some new product come to find out its the 5E version of what i already have for the main line. They did this with Symbaroum as well.

RPG Crowdfunding News – Planet of the Apes, Castles & Crusades, Smörk Borg, and more

seems more niche to individuals than groups. I am ok being wrong. I know several solo rpg players are backing it for that purpose. There were a handful of solo modules for the west end D6 rpg system.

RPG Crowdfunding News – Planet of the Apes, Castles & Crusades, Smörk Borg, and more

I find it interesting that Planet of the Apes (1444 backers) is doing better than C&C (994 backers). I have several graphic novels from Magnetic press, and they are top notch. The seem to use that hardback rounded corner feature on many of their Book releases. I would back this, but like...

Hidden Treasure from The Making of Original Dungeons & Dragons

i was impressed with the weight of the paper. When it was delivered, i thought it was the batteries i ordered... its heavy. I did find it interesting that there were a lot of documents with Kuntz name on them but he has been stating for a long time no one ever reached out to him from wizards...

RPG Print News – Chaosium, Tuesday Knight Games, and More

anyone here have any comparisons of the Cowboy Bebop RPG, to Scum and Villainy (bounty hunter mode) RPG to Orbital Blues RPG? I have read from impressions that the Official Cowboy Bebop RPG is a bit of a mess rules as written wise. I have the GM-less Space Bounty Blues of Rob Hebert and...

RPG Print News – Chaosium, Mongoose, Goodman Games, and More

i was under the impression the 1st edition had collected some of the out of print content as well, so it will be interesting to see what different or has been added. David Scott from chaosium stated over on reddit when asked the differences between 1 & 2 editions:

Board Game Arkham Horror Getting an RPG from Edge Studio

The worst is having to run everything through for approval and release via the disney/lucas machine, months of waiting on simplest things. Those licenses are super restrictive by design, so managing dept can milk that IP for every possible source of revenue within the allowed time frame. The...
