For a certain value of ‘popular’ - most, if not all, of the people in those videos paid money for a copy before reviewing it.

The sales page on WotC’s site does proclaim, “Limited Stock!” But I don’t believe they’ve said one way or the other yet. I’m going for the Soth cover, personally. As I’ve played 100% online for years now, a miniatures based wargame is of somewhat limited use to me.

It didn’t help that the original tweet from WotC promoting the bundle incorrectly showed the hobby store Soth cover. Confused the heck out of everyone.

For whatever reason, they're producing three different covers for Dragonlance: a normal one, a hobby store alternate one, and a third foil one if you order the package with the wargame directly from them. Link to images of all three.

Given that after the release of the D&D Battlesystem back in the day - which included the Dragonlance "Battle of Qualinost" as a scenario - the fact that the only book I recall having much support for Battlesystem was Dark Sun's Dragon Kings would seem to support that idea.

I mean, it was mainly written by James Wyatt, who also worked on the 3e Draconomicon. I’ll give you Spelljammer though - an extra 30-40 pages would really have rounded out the product.

Weren't they more "Bigby's [full in the blank] Hand" spells? Grasping hand, interposing hand? That sort of thing? I'm still pulling for "Shemeshka's Guide to the Wheel" being one of the books in the Planescape set.

Aah, how did I forget about seeing Factol Guildmaster Rhys - they even had the correct symbol for the Transcendent Order, and had them running what I assume is the Great Gymnasium in Sigil. I do hope that indicates that they're hewing closer to the original box set, rather than the stuff that...
