Don't quite agree there. Yes, the stuff added in the beginning is bad (at least it was in the book, based on screenplay). But the scene with the sentry guns work very well though.

To answer the original question: Shadowrun has some very good books. but some rather bad as well. The ones I really liked: Secrets of Power Trilogy Never Trust an Elf Black Madonna Burning Bright 2XS Striper, Assassin Worlds without End House of the Sun The Dragonheart trilogy Hmm, seems...

I want more of Florida man in the form of Ben Brainheart. His clips when he acts like the various US states are very fun imo.
