I just got my copy at Necronomicon yesterday, and as Ghostwind said "it is the marine biologist gamer's wet dream" I have only read the first few pages this morning, but from my initial glance, it looks amazing. In my 17+ years of playing, I have not seen an underwater book as good, at least...

I love the idea, but should it only be a +1 template? It seems if you put the template over and existing race, say an elf, you are getting all of the abilities of 2 races, with the ECL of the planar races only. Granted the basic races do not have an ECL, but it still seems a little unbalancing...

My wife and I are doing a couple of self-designed Anime Characters, her Meka Jo (roughly based on a Deeds not Words PC she had) and my as of yet unamed Anime-Style character. I hope to have the costumes finished this weekend (well on Sunday as we are heading to Necronomicon in Tampa tomorrow)...

My wife used to have that problem. She would check out her boards at work. One of them even had a link at the top of the page that said PANIC and clicking on it would bring up a screenshot from Excel. Very cool.

I personally would not allow either of those uses in my campaign. They seem to be meta-game thinking to me. No one in their right mind would attempt to hit themselves with a spell, even if they knew it would be absorbed. Technically, however, since the rules do not specifically discourage...

pg 9 of the FRCS has a god to god conversion chart. I was thinking that the god thing would be a major problem as well, thats why I had decided to just use greyhawk for the path. I glanced thru the FRCS and found the chart and was so excited, as I like the Realms better than Greyhawk.

I mean, when d20M first came out, this forum was hoppin'. All kinds of posts on how to use the system, what you are doing with the system and how can we tweak the system were here. In the last few weeks it seems to have dwindled to a coupla threads, and not much else. Anyone disenchanted...

There is a starter box set that came out with the 3.0 PHB. I bought it for my (then) 11 year old step-son and he ran 3e before I ever got to! Its pretty good actually, although I do not know if it is still in print We still use the counters and maps that it came with on occasion.
