The storage pouch was nylon, using Velcro to close the flap. The Velcro pretty much gave up the ghost at 3 months. I restitched the nylon pouch at 6 months, then again 3 months later. I expect this leather one I made will last the life of the tool (Roxon KS2E).

I really hate it when the maker of a great tool skimps on the storage pouch. Checking online I found that a replacement would be dirt cheap, but shipping would be three times the cost of the replacement. So, I made this in a couple of hours, instead.

Having been almost taken out by a car going the wrong way down a one way street (more than once) I consider that to be realism, not pessimism ;)

Adkison has pretty much retired, at this point. One of my friends was his social media person until recently. He's devoted most of his time to Chaldea Studios, from what I understand, and has produced a bunch of videos for it based on his own campaign. They're available on Youtube.

My local Walmart started out with an area of 4 express checkouts, laid out horizontally, alongside the regular linear checkouts. Then they added a self checkout section, of maybe 10 stations, on the other side next to the second exit. A while later they turned the express checkouts into another...

Yup, that episode is a gut punch. A genuinely good guy who was born into a bad world, and just trying to get along.

Most of my local grocers have removed them in favour of self checkout.

I would agree. As it stands I think that power production would be in danger of going in exactly the opposite direction, as that tech is already available to serve the "immediate (created) need."

The phantom scanning thing has become far more common, since cameras started going in to catch people who skip-scan.
