    Medium Flame Dagger and Flurry

That is not right, the spell damage is 1d4, not 1d6. The spell says that it creates a bladelike beam that you can wield as if it were a dagger. But I think it was designed to function for a medium wizard. Would be reasonable that a larger creature could cast a larger dagger? And it would be...

    Question regarding Sneak Attack

Actually, you guys are being too realist. I think the real intend of the SA in the game is not where you hit, but HOW you hit to really hurt someone. Let's say a monk hits the belly with a punch: that's gonna hurt. But if a rogue hit the belly with a SA, he is going for the vital spot, in case...

    Medium Flame Dagger and Flurry

I realized that the spell Flame Dagger shows the damage of a medium dagger (a dagger used by a medium character). Would it be possible to change that? Like, instead of creating a medium dagger of fire, create a large dagger to deal 1d6 of damage (applying the -2 of penalty as said in PH)? Is it...

    Question regarding Sneak Attack

Although a kick to the shin are painful, it is not so vital spot. But, of course, you can still gain some advantage kicking the shin rather than hitting the stomach, the movement would be compromised. That's the reality. At the game play, hitting with a dagger on the face and hitting the finger...

    UMD Vs Restrictions

Im in doubt: UMD can be used to bypass align restrictions, but how does it work with an equip that grant negative levels to persons that hold it, like a profane weapon used by a good character? Additionally, can UMD emulate a skill requirement? Like a restriction that the full power of an item...

    Gestalt, Prestige Classes and Feats

Actually it's not about to split my feats between metamagic and melee; it's about focusing in one of them and keep the other as complement. I believe the party must have basically a tank, a damage dealer and a healer. Spells like great mighty wallop, heroic and wraithstrike combined with arcane...

    D&D 3.x 3.5e: Molten Strike spell & Energy Substitution

Actually, electricity is more capable of causing the foe to be immobile. When you are electrocuted, an electric current passes through your body and contracting the muscles, causing paralysis. I do believe that magic fire causes the burning. The continuous fire damage is magic as its source...

to max out ones main attribute

INT instead of CHA? DM call again! hahaha Of course INT is better than CHA, that is why I would think twice, before allowing it... Maybe I would put the price a little bit higher...

D&D 3.x 3.5e: Mage of the Arcane Order

Anyspell? Question: a sorcerer with arcane disciple (spell domain) or the substituition level that grants spell domain can qualify to mage of arcane order and wyrm wizard? My question is based in the spell Anyspell.

to max out ones main attribute

I think the rules don't cover it. But I would not allow them to stack. This equip is too good to be too cheap. The rules of making equips are vague and don't cover well magic items that don't follow a specific spell. Striping the other powers of is the same of making a brand new item, with just...

to max out ones main attribute

According to Dungeon Master's Guide, page 282, if the item requires an specific class or alignment to use, it cuts the cost by 30%. If you change it to a relic it would have a discount of 400*spell slot level*minimum cleric level as said in Complete Divine, page 92. Also, take a look at the...

    Gestalt, Prestige Classes and Feats

Thanks for the answers! I never thought this questions would do all this work... StreamOfTheSky, your method is equal to making two builds, just taking care to not add PrC at the same level, you explained wonderfully, there is no need to a lv 20 build. Thats easy to learn and could be accepted...

    Gestalt, Prestige Classes and Feats

Hi everyone. I was making a gestalt build and encountered some doubts, especially about prestige classes. This three points are the main issue: 1- Prestige class I couldn't understand the form that PrCs influence the saves and attack bonus. I know that I can't fuse two PrCs so I would apreciate...

to max out ones main attribute

That is right. It is too expensive. But there are some ways to make it cheaper: making it a relic, add a restriction like only class X can use... Talk to your DM! This item is one of the things that reduce the MAD of my monk/sorcerer of the other thread. It is really cool.
