    D&D 5E (2014) A reptilian world?

This depends. Are dragonborn in the human niche of the "most common race" or in the niche of "the dominant species of this world". I think that dragonborn can be the dominant humanoid species in Reptorth (placeholder name for now), under their masters (and true dominant species of Reptorth), the...

    D&D 5E (2014) A reptilian world?

This is my point. We are trying to create here a world meant to be dominated by the scaled ones. Not a world that would become the backstory of Standard Fantasy world #th. I have a few ideas to share here, that I hope I can share when I get home.

    D&D 5E (2014) A reptilian world?

That was my point when I said that kobolds should be "the gnomes" of this setting. Kobolds are intelligent and creative creatures. They would the tinkerers and engeeniers of this world, much like the Zil gnomes of Eberron. There couldn't be a setting that has no humanity as the dominant...

    D&D 5E (2014) A reptilian world?

In D&D? The only one I can remember from official sources are the troglodytes, but they are always depicted as less advanced than other species/cultures.

    D&D 5E (2014) A reptilian world?

Personally, I would have kobolds as the gnomes equivalent, as they are rivals in the traditional D&D lore. I don't know which reptilian species would replace halflings, tho.

D&D 5E (2014) WotC Explains 'Canon' In More Detail

It has the same problem of the alignment. I don't want to derail this topic, so just search on this forum "Wall of the Faithless", and you'll see.

D&D 5E (2014) WotC Explains 'Canon' In More Detail

Because some people believed it was imposing real world-religious stuff into D&D, and well, religious people aren't the only ones playing D&D.

D&D General WotC: Novels & Non-5E Lore Are Officially Not Canon

As if a DM needed some book to tell them what is true or not in their game world. Just saying.

D&D General WotC: Novels & Non-5E Lore Are Officially Not Canon

Wait? They existed in 5e? As far as I know, they have been pretending that 4e never happened, lol

D&D 5E (2014) Fizban's Treasury: The Dragon Book Now Has A Description... And A Feat

Actually, they appear in 4e. They were just renamed as Liondrakes. See the Threats to the Nentir Vale book.

D&D 5E (2014) Is Paladine Bahamut? Is Takhisis Tiamat? Fizban's Treasury Might Reveal The Answer!

Another reason I don't like Planescape, lol. Anyways, we should return to how Fizban and the Old Man with canaries are the one and the same. And in fact, when I used the Old Man in my game, I named him Fizban ;)

Critical Role Tal’Dorei Reborn from Critical Role's Darrington Press

Did they mention if there was any difference between this book and the Green Ronin one?

D&D 5E (2014) Is Paladine Bahamut? Is Takhisis Tiamat? Fizban's Treasury Might Reveal The Answer!

Oh, well. That's a good thing, I guess. My experience with my Neverwinter game is still ruined, as the SCAG is still considered canon, lol

D&D 5E (2014) Is Paladine Bahamut? Is Takhisis Tiamat? Fizban's Treasury Might Reveal The Answer!

IIRC, Tiamat was created before than Takhisis. So, the real question is, was Takhisis a unique dragon? ;)

    D&D 5E (2014) The October D&D Book is Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons

In 4e? It's called the First Work, and it was first mentioned in the WotC preview books (IIRC, Worlds & Monsters), and was later mentioned in the first DMG. So, the concept of an "original world" was there since the beginning. The shattering of the world and the creation of the multiverse was...

    D&D 5E (2014) The October D&D Book is Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons

Yeah, that was stuff that was added later to the 4e lore, just like the Primal Spirits and the Far Realm invasion. IIRC, it's mentioned in one the Dragon articles, that the world got shattered by Tharizdun and that that created different versions of the Prime.

D&D 5E (2014) Is Paladine Bahamut? Is Takhisis Tiamat? Fizban's Treasury Might Reveal The Answer!

You can reconcile things without being condescending. That's my point.

D&D 5E (2014) Is Paladine Bahamut? Is Takhisis Tiamat? Fizban's Treasury Might Reveal The Answer!

The thing with Planescape is that is a series of condescending books written to tell DMs they are wrong and that Planescape is the actual truer truth of all truthiness (TM) in D&D. If the books were less condescending, perhaps I wouldn't be complaining here,

D&D 5E (2014) Is Paladine Bahamut? Is Takhisis Tiamat? Fizban's Treasury Might Reveal The Answer!

Nope, but only because Conan is not a WotC-owned character, lol.
