D&D 5E (2014) Is Paladine Bahamut? Is Takhisis Tiamat? Fizban's Treasury Might Reveal The Answer!

I guess the difference is that Bahamut and Tiamat, and perhaps Sardior, are older than the current dragons. They started it all in the First World, while the other great wyrms dragons seems to have originated from the current multiverse.

D&D 5E (2014) Fizban's Treasury: The Dragon Book Now Has A Description... And A Feat

Well, the artist on Twitter said it was a silver dragon. And the dragon on the cover looks different than the one with ice crystals.

D&D 5E (2014) Fizban's Treasury: The Dragon Book Now Has A Description... And A Feat

It's a great wyrm silver dragon summoning all his "echo" power from other worlds, it seems.

D&D 5E (2014) Is Paladine Bahamut? Is Takhisis Tiamat? Fizban's Treasury Might Reveal The Answer!

Now that you mention this, there is an old Polyhedron magazine (from 1e or 2e?) that says that some gold dragons believe Bahamut was originally a gold dragon who "evolved" into platinum dragon god through "sheer goodness".

    D&D 5E (2014) The October D&D Book is Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons

Sardior is mentioned in the dragonborn UA as the "first creation" of Bahamut and Tiamat in the First World (ie. their son? They have been hinted that Bahamut and Tiamat had a son since 3.x, at least). I guess they are going to reprint that stuff in Fizban's.

    D&D 5E (2014) The October D&D Book is Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons

This already happened in 5e. Check the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide entry on the dragonborn. This is a huge lol, given that in the 4e campaign guide, they had explicitly said that slavery was illegal according to the laws of High Imaskar...

D&D General Politics (in your game)

In my Neverwinter campaign, there is shadowy organization known as the Shadow Mirrors (I stole that name, lol) that is behind nearly all the armor and weapon smiths of the Sword Coast and nearby lands, in some form or another. They either sponsor them directly or by third party, and also control...

D&D 5E (2014) The Fall Of The Dwarves: What Races Do People Actually Play?

One may think that, but if you search about dragonborn in forums and the like, you'll see mostly fanmade fixes and people complaining about how weak they are. Given that level of complaints, I was expecting the race not to be as popular as it is.

D&D 5E (2014) The Fall Of The Dwarves: What Races Do People Actually Play?

Interesting. Given how weak (mechanically speaking) dragonborn are, I find interesting that they are among the top 5 most played races in the official site...

D&D General Yan C Bin is the worst name in D&D

Floon Blagmar. Canonical human name in FR.

"Cool setting, bro. But what's the hook for the PCs?"

Thanks for the free publicity ;) I also think the Nentir Vale would have benefited from a full setting book. But the Vale has a ton of player's hooks at it is. They may be more local than those of the full settings, but they do exist, nonetheless.

D&D 5E (2014) Does the Variant Human need a boost now after Tasha's changes

First they should fix the dragonborn. After that, they can focus on making more powerful an already powerful race.

Tasha's Cauldron of Everything: An In-Depth Review

That dragonborn looks like a blue half-dragon without tail... I do miss the traditional looking dragonborn from 4e, but if this means the books are going to show more dragonborn art (something 5e was lacking), then I guess I have to get accustomed to it. Thanks for the review. I do see this...

Dragonlance [Dragonlance/Faerun] Anyone here met any Cataclysm/Wall of the Faithless defenders?

Yes, that is true. However, he still has some input in the published products. He is consulted by WotC and whatnot.

Dragonlance [Dragonlance/Faerun] Anyone here met any Cataclysm/Wall of the Faithless defenders?

Well, remember that the Realms are not Ed's alone. There is a contract in between. In published works, Ed cannot contradict what is already written in a published work. This doesn't mean he has to agree with that. I guess the Spellplague is a good example of this.

Dragonlance [Dragonlance/Faerun] Anyone here met any Cataclysm/Wall of the Faithless defenders?

Thing is, the Wall was not created by Ed Greenwood (who has voiced that he also dislikes the Wall, as it messes up with the idea he had of how the afterlife in the Realms should work). It was an addendum of some author of the novels for some reason.

Dragonlance [Dragonlance/Faerun] Anyone here met any Cataclysm/Wall of the Faithless defenders?

I was not talking about Kel. I was answering to the hypothesis that the Lawful Good gods would argue if the Wall was just or not, but here people only see the "lawful" part of Lawful Good. That's why I mentioned that they would also care about stuff like if the nature of punishment is really...

Dragonlance [Dragonlance/Faerun] Anyone here met any Cataclysm/Wall of the Faithless defenders?

We are talking about Lawful Good deities, not Lawful Neutral. They also care about things like compassion and mercy, not only about justice. They can argue about wether a law is just or not, but you can be sure that one of their main concerns, one were all would agree, would be if such law is...

Ao just make it a law. "By my decree, now you have to breath air as I say it, or you die". I always thought the Avatar Crisis series were nonsense...
