There was definitely a slow down from about November through February. Things are starting to look more normal now. One problem with prognositcation... is that sometimes the tea leaves don't always lead to true conclusions. It remains to be seen whether this recovery will last though.

Here's a fun and easy one that doesn't require excessive rerolls. 3d6, replace a single die with a value of 4. This yields a range of 6 to 16. If you roll 1,1,1... you replace a die with a 4 and get 6. Similarly, if you roll 6,6,6... replace a die with a 4 and you get 16.

Generally speaking I see a lot of "5e" with no reference to "D&D", but perhaps a nod to the "greatest roleplaying game of all time". Less so, I see "5th Edition"... and even more rare is to spell it out fully as "Fifth Edition"
