    Awesome. I think I'm going to do the preorder at Demiplane and I've already got the physical core coming whenever release happens, so it's more about occasional reference and character building than needing a PDF (which I think Darrington includes with physical orders, not sure).

    If it was the math on the Armor rules that bugged them, it is now much simpler. Spend a point of Armor to reduce the actual Damage done (so from 2 HP damage to 1 HP, for example). I'm hoping that the final release is robust enough to see some play when it arrives.

    The challenge is that, for the person who went to college for business administration (and the crazy parties), doing that doesn't feel like "working", micro-managing people and squeezing another 0.1% out of the turnip is working. It is a damn shame.

    That sounds like maybe the Loremaster was in a D&D mind frame a bit too much. Valour rewards should happen somewhat slowly and rolls to find magic items should be even more rare. They may just have wanted to see the magic items in play, or felt that y'all expected it? Hard to say, of course.
