Subtitles for People That Hate Them

So, I was curious about this and did a quick search. There is an app called "SubReader" that will actually repeat the subtitle out loud. Im guessing its like typical read back things where it sounds robotic but it should convey what is being said without the person needing to read.

What is your favourite character type, (prof, class etc) And why?

Spies, equal parts face and skill master. I prefer to drive change in the game/setting through obfuscation and plots, to outright stated intention. Political intrigue is my favorite part of RPGs with an emphasis on social and exploration play.

    Matt Colville's Community

I'll try and find time to watch the video. As far as building communities goes, I think its good folks are discussing discourse here. One of the best things I got out of college was from a 99 page book about negotiation. There was a tip to focus on interests instead of positions. The idea was...

How Do You Like Your Steak?

How Do You Like Your Steak?

Most restaurant ovens are incredibly hot and can cook a steak to medium well in marginally longer time than medium rare. Im pretty sure rare came into fashion becasue people can eat it without their guts coming out their backside from better modern meat packing practices.

Do you "roleplay" in non-TTRPG Games?

Why wouldn’t your character, an experienced tactical fighter, know how exploit their opponents and battlefield position? It’s arbitrary because its explainable in the fiction, yet it feels wrong. I’ve been there and it’s an argument that never ends because your feeling can’t be right to anyone...

Do you "roleplay" in non-TTRPG Games?

I guess when it comes to D&D, I view the combat as "under the hood" and I dont really role play that part of the game. Though, if I think about it D&D combatants spend a s-ton of time doing it. They (the character) would know how to make optimal combat moves. If I cant put two and two together...

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Its amazing how standards have not just been lowered in the last 20 years, but they have often been out right obliterated all together.

Do you "roleplay" in non-TTRPG Games?

I mean, that just sounds like using good sense and tactics in a combat. I really dont like framing role playing as a competition. Different folks have different preferences and I want to encourage them as opposed to direct them to the "right" way. I assume you are trying to do two things here...
