(5.24 PBP) Vault Redux (OOC) Fitz's Refresher

We just finished a short rest 5 minutes ago in game. This was the first combat since our last rest. You gave inspiration to Merrick and, while I tried to use it by giving the enemy disadvantage , I don’t think it ever actually was needed so I still have it. We have the stones that let us...

D&D 5E (2014) See Invisibility: awareness of Invisibility

D&D 5E (2014) See Invisibility: awareness of Invisibility

I just mean that they are both concentration spells so you can’t have both of them up simultaneously

D&D 5E (2014) See Invisibility: awareness of Invisibility

it’s useful in a different way. I guess they can’t stack anymore.

D&D 5E (2024) Improving Medicine - one of the least loved skills.

D&D 5E (2024) Improving Medicine - one of the least loved skills.

which is why giving more opportunities to spend HD outside short rests works well.

D&D General My character has too many magic items to attune to.

Unless your character does a lot of sneaking, the cloak is better off on a ranger or rogue.

D&D 5E (2024) Improving Medicine - one of the least loved skills.

I’d get rid of healing kits auto stabilization. Make it a medicine check instead. Healers kit gives you advantage. I like your social role suggestion. For short rests, I liked the suggestion where a successful role give you advantage on your Hit Die roll. In combat, use an action to...

Kulan: Knightfall's Crisis in Bluffside Game [OOC]

Regarding @MetaVoid s post. He is thinking exactly what I was thinking. Exemplar Best Practices Manual 37b: decapitate all slain enemies to prevent opposition from animating them 37c: always have Speak with Dead memorized

(5.24 PBP) Vault Redux (OOC) Fitz's Refresher

The Gloomstalker Robot is probably a better candidate to go under the water and sneak since that's his schtick. I think he's effectively invisible in dim light.

D&D 5E (2014) See Invisibility: awareness of Invisibility

It's a role playing game. You can't predict every situation.

(5.24 PBP) Vault Redux (OOC) Fitz's Refresher

If the Druid turns into an octopus, they could easy grasp the statue. @FitzTheRuke where are we on the timing? Merrick is going to send another sending once we have info from the wizard so I’m not sure if team Fusion will get the message before or after the hydra plan. Edit: looks like team...

(5.24 PBP) Vault of the Dracolich (IC) Redux

Team Caves: Despite being compliant, the two prisoners were not very talkative. Merrick tapped his toes impatiently while scowling menacingly at the two, waiting to hear their answers.

D&D 5E (2014) See Invisibility: awareness of Invisibility

You know if they’re under the effects of a spell. That’s extra knowledge See invisibility doesn’t specifically provide and it’s not the kind of info I’d give out. I’d prefer the person with the see invisibility have to figure it out themselves. I think it makes for more interesting situations...

D&D 5E (2014) See Invisibility: awareness of Invisibility

I don’t like giving it the equivalent of Detect Magic on top of See Invisibility.
