So they're gonna use that name for the Item section in the new books? Kinda neat reference. Also, the digital expansions will be sold separately once the FR books come out for the people only interested in those; there's a thread in DDB confirming it.

A lot of the doom-posting I've seen continue to use either lack of sales numbers from WotC or bookscan numbers as evidence when in reality we don't know since direct sales seems to be the majority of their income nowadays followed by FLGS

That's one surprising thing about this book that it doesn't provide much lore about the cats except for what's in the Warlock subclass. There's also no mention of the Dreamlands, even though it features extensively in Lovecraft's stories and Chaosium CoC

Well, he did use the cat's name in one of his stories in reference to his own cat, though some of his letters imply he might or might not be the one to have given that name to the cat originally.

This is a reference to the Dreamlands cats from the Mythos, which were inspired by Lovecraft's own cat and the sense of security it gave him (we don't talk about the cat's name). The cats of Earth are are a collective intelligence within the Dreamlands, and they have an adversarial relationship...

Regarding this supplement: since it's digital only, I would've given it 1-2 more weeks to proof-read for errors; there's a whole thread on DDB for all the grammar issues among other errors.

From what I've read, some orders were fulfilled while others weren't. Cthulhu Wars went back to Petersen Games, but the Mythos RPG books did not, so Quimbley retains the sales rights. That's probably why those books got scrubbed from Sandy's website.
