Should rings be able to function for low level characters?

No, level is a purely mechanical and metegame term. In most campaigns meta-game thinking of this type causes people to loose their suspension of disbelief. I believe that characters of all levels should be able to take advantage of all items, magical or otherwise, they know how to use. A ring...

D&D 4E What Kinds of Settings do You Want to See for 4E?

I know I would buy those books. Sounds much more fun than a standard setting. That said, it won't be everyone's cup of tea.

    Experts as PCs

Thanks for the responses. It isn't that some of the other classes wouldn't work (rogue, bard, ranger), but that they have too much baggage that goes along with them. I don't see the character as a performer, hunter, trapfinder (maybe in later levels), or backstabber. The expert class looks...

Will Cleric Domains be like Wizard Traditions?

I think domains will have different powers to choose from. You might select the fire domain and gain power like a 1/encounter fire attack (flamestrikesque). On the other hand, you could select the death domain and gain the ability to create undead.

Here's my guess at it: Fighter: Str and Con Paladin: Cha and Str (and Will) Rogue: Dex and Int Ranger: Dexand Str Wizard: Int and Cha Warlock: Cha and Dex Cleric: Will and Cha Warlord: Cha and Str

    New Design & Development: Feats

The skill system does not seem to be much like that of SWSE in every way. There is the perception skill, but no skill focus. maybe there will be skill ranks.
