Couldn't this argument be used for all attributes to a greater or lesser degree? e.g. is any race better at being a Fighter than the half-orc or better at being a rogue than the elf?

Weren't the 3.0E core rulebooks sold at a discount? I seem to remember WotC using it as a strategy to get people to be more willing to make the move from 1E or 2E. If so, is it significant that this approach isn't being taken for 4.0E? Could it be because WotC believe 4.0E is so much better...

Thanks guys - definitely seems weight related (or perhaps size?). For the three books I'd definitely want I get a minimum P&P of $39. I can then add three others (including Book of the Righteous) before it trips to the next category.

Hi - I had a look at this. I think I was planning to spend about $50 which would incur around $120 worth of P&P. Eventhough it's probably still worth it (from a purely objective point of view) I just can't justify that level of cost on P&P.

Now that 4E is on it's way I was wondering what new publications would be appearing before 4E for 3.xE (from publishers other than WotC)? I really don't have much of a sense of it much? nothing? Anything special?

When the SW SAGA edition was launched I remember someone mentioning a Firefly/Serenity conversion for it - I can't remember who it was but I wouldn't mind seeing a copy ;)
