Tome of Foes was ok. Best 5E books are always going t9 be subjective. Xanathars, Strahd, Xanathars, Tomb of Annihilation are all generally highly regarded. 5E books are all pretty as well. Huge influx of new players dont have anything to compare them to. Its mostly the big WotC...

Warlocks get origin feats as an invocation option. Good cleric, druid, wizard spells that upcast are an option. Command, Chromatic Orb. Tashas is a warlock spell.

Our monk essentially has unlimited focus points in effect since level 7-9 or so. 6 attacks a round.

Elven accuracy may or may not be available. And I've seen it used with a dual wielding champion. Level 10. Well 12. Shortbow archer can work as well. Its arguably best archer.

Early 5E was also crap. It peaked around 2016-2019. Theros, Ravnica, Eberron, Xanathars, CoS, ToA, Ghosts of Saltmarsh. So the peak came right before Tashas landed. Then we got a book of experimental stuff a lot useless and power creep. And icewind Dale. Very pretty books though.

Piercer is the feat I would cut. I like the build its fun and not to obvious. Sentinel+shield master has been good for a while.

I've been using 5.0 material and refluffing cultists, priests, and warriors. Low CR its thugs, bandits etc. Refluff elemental cultists from PotA or whatever.
