There are a couple of ways to handle this. First, you might just rule-zero the rule about the imbiber of a potion being both the effective caster of the spell and the target. Then, drinking a potion of ghoul touch would imbue the drinker with the negative energy mentioned in the spell...

Eh...the thing to remember here is that a psion pumping all his points into a single attack is kind of like a sorcerer blowing all his daily spells in one encounter. Sure, it's impressive in the immediate term, but then they're just crappy crossbowmen for the rest of the day. :) -Will

Well, do keep in mind that the psionics rules are all in the SRD. See http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/psionic.html (or your favorite version of the SRD). Still your call whether to allow it or not, of course. But you wouldn't NEED the book. :) -Will
