So true. Goliath Monk grappler here. Comes up every combat. My goliath managed to grapple a young shadow dragon.....DM ruled i could hold its mouth shut(like steve irwin holds crocs mouths shut). kept him from using that negative level breath....ick.

Is there a way for a character with a poison attack to increase its damage dice for poison? Say a bite attack for 1d6/1d6 str. Is there a feat or other ability to increase that?

If you can, get Weightless armor. removes movement penalty, increases max dex by +2, and decreases ACP by 2 for a +2 bonus.

Yea. This actually came up in our last game....try grappling a medium sized dragon...and pinning it with the mouth shut so it cant breathe(shadow dragon with its negative level breath...ick)

Pretty much. Unless your size Large(or powerful build) and have Rock Throwing, in which case your doing 2d6 damage throwing 40 lb rocks. ;)

20d6 falling damage. Dont forget weight damage as well.

If you are hiding, they cant see you. if they cant see you, they lose dex mod to AC. look under invisible. Every group ive ever played with ruled it that way.

They cant see the hidden character, meaning they dont get their dex mod to AC from that person. Effectively, because they cant see exactly where its coming from, they cant dodge it. Even if you know they are "over there", you cant see exactly where, and you cant see the attack coming.

Hes directing a spell to attack someone. Invisibility drops. Simple as that. Hes already cast the spell, but he is directing it to attack someone. Same thing. If a person casts flaming sphere, goes invisible, then moves it into someones square, thats an attack. how is this different?
