well. 7 people pledged $10K in the space of a few days. Nobody pledged $7.5K or $5K. I’ve never seen a pattern like this for a crowdfunding project.

I used to buy them all, but stopped a few years ago. I was really keen on the Starfinder ones, as the TTRPG industry is so fantasy based. Fantasy battlemaps are available in the tens of thousands. I have scores of them, and in digital format I have hundreds--to the point where fantasy battlemaps...

What can I say? That's a hella flimsy box. Some of those boxes have lasted 30 years, but that one managed a few months.

Just one of the various starter sets should do you. That’s pretty much exactly what they are designed for.

Also to be clear that material is not put on DDB by Ghostfire, MCDM, or Kobold. It is put on there by WotC, under license from from Ghostfire, MCDM, and KP. The terms of that agreement are not something we are privy to, but it is not the forum EULA we are looking at here.

Calm down please. If you disagree with something somebody has said in this thread, you can respond to it politely and rationally without this sort of performance.

Pledges can still fail for a whole bunch of reasons. Typically 5% of pledges fail on any given Kickstarter.

Apropos of nothing, somebody in real life told me recently that WotC had nicked his idea. This from somebody who had in no way interacted with WotC and who WotC was in no way aware even existed. So if people are willing to accuse companies of nicking their stuff offline they sure as hell are...

Licenses it, not owns it. You still own it. That’s an important distinction. (Well in this case you do, I haven’t seen the Reddit agreement).

That’s a 60K bump. The max you can donate on Kickstarter is 10K. Five separate backers appear to have done that in the last few days.
