    Why, oh why...

Maybe some basic information about "what this character does" is in order then? Is it an existing character? If so, what are his current feats and main skills? How does he typically fight? (Tactics? Spells?) Which books do you have access to?

Where can I find Errata for the Spell Compendium

A couple of mistakes from the spell lists Draconic might is listed as +5 Str, Con, Cha (copied from Draconomicon). It was changed to +4 in Spell Compendium spell description. Draconic polymorph (another Draconomicon spell) is in the Sor/Wiz list as a 5th level spell, but it's nowhere to be...

Death in Eberron - What to Do?

If the problem is finding a cleric willing to cast spells for money, limited wish can be used to duplicate raise dead. It will be more expensive though. (And probably not a viable option in Q'barra.)

    Dragonmarked

That's pretty ugly when combined with the celerity spells from PHBII... :]

    Constructing Constructs

I don't remember how item creation with scrolls work (if at all), but you need to have a look at the 3.5 update booklet. http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20030718a

Where can I find Errata for the Spell Compendium

The flavor parts of the spell descriptions are copyrighted. The dry game mechanics aren't. Depending on how much Vraille Darkfang includes, copyright may not be a problem.

    Buckler Question

Yes. Yes. See the main "Armor and Shields" table. (5%) Buy a mithral one (+1000 gp) and it'll have no arcane spell failure and no armor check penalty.

    TWF & Shield Bash

There's a potential (small) problem in that returning can only be placed on "a weapon that can be thrown". Now technically any weapon "can" be thrown, but I suspect that's not what they meant. Throwing removes that problem, as a throwing weapon "can be thrown by a wielder proficient in its...

    TWF & Shield Bash

(I'm not 100% sure if I agree with this ruling.) Edit: The PHBII actually has a Shield Sling feat for this sort of thing, along with several other shield specialist feats. (Though throwing and returning is still a good idea, as the shield won't come back to you.)

    TWF & Shield Bash

You remember me! :) I'll skip the usual arguments proving that shields are weapons and that the default rules for weapons apply to shields. Instead I'll let Andy Collins have a say:

    TWF & Shield Bash

All he has to do is use the shield as his primary weapon and the light weapon as his off-hand weapon.

    Fresh Campaign Setting Sought

Maybe it's too obvious but... Eberron? For those now getting ready to tell me "Eberron is high magic": No, it's wide magic. High magic is hard to come by and mostly used as a plot device. Though if by "high magic" you mean "lots of magic", Eberron is not for you.

can celestial armor be given the mithral property?

The difference is in the modification. You can't "add" a new armor material to an armor or a weapon after it's been made. However, you can add new magic abilities to existing magic items and there are rules to cover it. Using adding arrow catching to an absorbing shield as an example: The...

can celestial armor be given the mithral property?

That's not usually how magic item abilities work. -20% ASF should cost more than two stacking -10% ASF abilities, and it certainly shouldn't be better.

can celestial armor be given the mithral property?

Not at all. Those additions can be made using the item creation rules as written and require no more DM fiat than adding the same abilities to a regular magic weapon. However, specific magic armors (and weapons) are just that - specific. Variations may well exist in the campaign world, but...

Help! Searching for a free pdf adventure but can't find it

After some googling I found a review of the adventure explaining why the title sounded so familiar. It was included on the CD that came with the 3.0 PHB. (I found a pdf of it with Google but the site required a password to access the file. I could read the text through google's html cache...

    Shapechange Questions

Yes. According to Rules of the Game: Polymorphing (Part )4 that's a natural ability and gained even with polymorph. The FAQ suggests (more correctly IMO) that racial traits are extraordinary but you get those too with shapechange. Based on similar abilities, the RAW and examples in WotC's...
