I responded to this in the OOC thread. The upshot is that the hafling wasn't stopped by the basic attack provided by Combat Challenge. So, you'll need to move first and you won't be able to flank with Horto.

Here's something new I learned today. When a character knocks a creature to zero or below they can decide to knock them out rather than kill them. ie: Charlotte could choose not to kill the hafling she backed against the door.

Whether or not Ranver makes the OA is somewhat immaterial so you can go ahead and take your turn.
